Permissions Required: Bank Connect Administrator

To manage Bank Connect settings, you'll need to be a Bank Connect Administrator.

Your Bank Connect Administrator may be someone different from your Workday Administrator(s). Often Bank Connect Administrators are the primary relationship holder with the bank — a controller or senior finance executive. However, the Administrator can be set up without payment approval permissions if your company prefers to assign a security or IT administrator.

Open the Bank Connect Dashboard

  1. Navigate to the Bank Connect Dashboard using the SSO Link set up by your Administrator.

    • This can be added to your Workday Shortcuts (accessible from the main menu) for easy access. If not in your Shortcuts, you can also find this link by using the Workday search bar, navigate to the saml: bank connect link task. The dashboard will open in a new tab.
    • If you need access to the dashboard outside of Workday, you can navigate directly there in your browser. Your dashboard URL is: https://[company].wd.koxa.io
  2. Sign in with your credentials to authorize your bank connection.

Activate Company

  1. Enter the Activation Key you received via email or from your Financial Institution, then click Submit to Activate.

  2. Once you have activated your company, you will be directed to Account Services & Entitlements. The Bank Account and Payment Policies tabs are read-only pages that summarize the bank accounts account services, and policies that were configured during your enrollment.

Link Bank Users

Note: The bank user linking step applies only to payment users. If your company is enrolled in Information Reporting only, you will only need to link enrolled bank accounts as part of your company activation.

  1. Click the carrot next to Account Services & Entitlements to open a dropdown menu. Click Link Users & Accounts.

  2. The Link Users & Accounts section shows your company's enrolled Users in the left column, and the Linked Employee dropdown list of Workday users on the right.
Select the corresponding Workday user from the Linked Employee dropdown to link it with the Bank Connect enrolled user.

    • A single Workday user can only be linked to one bank user.
    • You may choose to leave users unlinked - these users will not be able to use the approvals dashboard.

Link Bank Accounts

In the Account Linking section, you will see the list of enrolled bank accounts for your company.

  1. From the Linked Account dropdown, select the corresponding Workday bank account to link it with the Bank Connect enrolled account.

    • A single Workday account can only be linked to one Bank Connect enrolled account.
    • You may choose to leave accounts unlinked — these accounts will not be available for payments or bank statement data import.
  2. Click Save User & Account Links button to save the changes.
